BILGE-B-DRY connects to your Smart Device (if desired) through the free BILGE-B-DRY Mobile App on the Apple & Google Play stores. Customizable operation is at your fingertips with multiple scheduling options, data monitoring, chart history, water sensor management, and in-depth Help Features!

For first-time use, BILGE-B-DRY is pre-programmed to run for two minutes upon power-up and then again, every six hours for two minutes. The system can be used in this manner without needing to use the Mobile App. These defaults are sufficient for many use cases.

Using the Mobile App is not required if you only want to run the default schedule.
Note that the BILGE-B-DRY internal clock will reset to 8:00 am when power is interrupted. Connect with the Mobile App and the internal clock will be automatically updated to the system time provided by your mobile device.
Any changes to the schedule will be saved in the BILGE-B-DRY unit, even after disconnecting power.

Connecting to your BILGE-B-DRY unit:

Open the BILGE-B-DRY Mobile App on your device
Scan the QR Code included with your BILGE-B-DRY purchase
If you lose or damage your QR code, use the Manual Entry option to enter your 6 character Device ID included with your purchase
If you purchased a BILGE-B-DRY unit prior to 1/1/2026, use the "Connect to Legacy Device" option
The Mobile App will automatically search for and connect to your pump

The Mobile App Home Page:

Use the "Status" Menu to check to see if your connected pump is running.
Tap the "Water Sensors" box to link to the "Settings" menu for wired and wireless water sensor options.
To run your pump on-demand, use the "Run Pump" drop-down menu for run durations up to 10 minutes.
For customized scheduling, choose the "Daily Schedules" menu to manage automated pump schedules. Choose from five schedule options and run durations up to 10 minutes.
Check for pump connection using the "Connections" menu at the bottom of the page. You can view the currently connected pump, add a new BILGE-B-DRY pump or switch devices.

The Mobile App Menu:

Tap the three horizontal bars in the top upper left-hand corner of the Mobile App Home Page to access the "Menu"
Use "Schedule" as a quick link to reach the "Daily Schedules" menu to set-up automated pump schedules for daily operation.
Access "Event Log" for data monitoring of your pump(s) to include the date, time, and type of activity for your pump or water sensor.
- Tap the triangular horizontal bars at the top of this page to filter the displayed data, to include: water detection, water clearance, Timer run, Schedule Run, water-triggered run, duty cycle pause, duty cycle resume, device boot and time sync.
- You can choose to Sort this page by logical order, time, type or duration.
- Tap the Chart symbol for a quick link to the "History Chart" menu.
Tap "History Chart" to view recorded pump and water sensor history over specific time periods.
Use "Water Sensor Management" to check water sensor status, to include water sensor configuration, water detection, battery voltage, battery level, sensor temperature, RSSI, and for options to add additional sensors.
If you need to purchase additional BILGE-B-DRY accessories, use "Buy Filters" to link to our site accessories page for replacement filter material or bilge water pickups.
Choose "Settings" (or the "Settings" widget on the Home Page) to manage App Settings, Pump Settings and Water Sensor Settings.
- App Settings include: automatic connection to the last used device, displayed device temperature, active stored devices, pump run after water clearance, pump run at powerup, and water sensor connections.
"Help" features include information about installation and wiring instructions, first use, proper electrical connections, winterization and troubleshooting articles.
Tap "About" for general information about your pump to include: current app version, device name, device ID, connection status, hardware and firmware version, date added and our company information and Privacy Policy.

Why does our Mobile App request user data?

The purpose for requesting your user data is to create a user account that is unique and associated with you. This enables you to log in from new devices and access the App while maintaining the settings and data from any prior sessions. Without this feature, you would need to re-scan your device's QR codes, re-enter settings, and you would lose your historical data logs when using a new device. This could happen when you get a new phone, or want to use an additional phone or tablet to control your system.
